Importance of Semi-Annual Visits to Your Dentist’s Office

When I was younger I often skipped semi-annual visits to my dentist’s office. Unfortunately, I thought I had more important things to do such as watch a movie, shop for a new outfit, or enjoy a night out with my friends. After neglecting to see my dentist for five years, I was informed I had periodontal disease. Thankfully, with the proper care my gums completely recovered. Since my gums healed from periodontal disease, I haven’t skipped a semi-annual dental appointment yet. On this blog, I hope you will discover the many reasons you should visit your dentist twice each year or even more often if you suspect you have dental problems.
